– Travel Writer / Journalist

Laura is Italian but grew up in Belgium, relocated to Ireland where she studied Russian, spent some time in Paris, moved to Moscow, and eventually ended up in London. When she’s not on a plane or trekking in a Kazakh desert, Laura studies for her Master’s degree in journalism in the hope of becoming a foreign correspondent and getting paid to travel the world and talk to people.

Laura writes about Russia, Eastern Europe, social issues, travel and cats. Superpowers include the ability to speak five languages and an extraordinarily overdeveloped memory that she has found no real use for yet. You can find more of her incoherent ramblings and terrible humour on Twitter (@_laura_tweets) and slightly more put-together thoughts on http://easternwesternisms.wordpress.com.
